Vendor neutral certification provider CompTIA have announced today that they are going to offer E-learning courses in partnership with Element K to help candidates prepare  for their exams.

Courses will be available initially for the following certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+ , Linux+, Convergence+, Project+, RFID+ , and PDI+ certifications; as well as for the CompTIA Strata certificate program.

Courses combine comprehensive conceptual information and interactive procedural training. Lessons and course activities can be repeated as often as needed to ensure skill development. CompTIA eLearning online courses provide students with a high degree of interactivity to reinforce basic skills.

A+ Training 2009 – Keeping Your Qualification Up-to-Date

CompTIA A+ certification has been around since 1993 and over that time there have been four different systems of examination for it. The latest A+ examination, the 2009 edition, is split into two separate exams. The last edition, 2006, is still available, but is in the process of being phased out.
